26th Annual Kennedy Center Open House Arts Festival

Well if you haven't figured it out, I'm taking a break from the nine to five, hence the daily post. I only have another week of this then I'm back to the daily grind.

Since it's been a cold winter, I went through my archives to dig up some photos from summer. I found these photos taken from the 26th Annual Kennedy Center Open House Arts Festival. It's a great event to watch performers of all ages and genres give it their all.  I also made a quick movie from some video I took during the event.

The Dragon 24/7 Trailer

Check my latest video project staring my brother-in-law Dennis "The Dragon" Diawatan (haha).  Mad props to him for allowing me to shoot him while he's training.  Look out for him at a gym near you.  He's schedule to fight next spring.

Watch it in 720p if you can.

Guess where this was shot in NYC...

Hint -- it's in front of a popular brunch spot.

I shot the video using my Nikon D90 DSLR with a 35mm lens and edited the movie in iMovie.  I really like the lighting in these shots and how the taxi cabs serve as a canvas to the stylish New Yorkers walking by.  Anyway, just a good way to spend a cold and rainy day indoors.
